“Patrick was a Detroit Police officer who worked on an ATF task force. On April 2, 2013, in pursuit of a murder suspect, Patrick sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his head. Patrick succumbed to his injuries October 19, 2013. Patrick was survived by his wife, Deodge, four children; Donovan, Lauren, Kamryn, and Patrick Jr, mother, Ernestine, fathers Michael and Sylvester, sisters Kia, Tiffanie, and Miranda, and brothers Sylvester and Christopher and a host of family and friends.”
